What to expect:

Directors will explain the whole process in the beginning of auditions. Best to come dressed for the role, but it's not required. This is a shadow cast, which means we lip synch to the film or shout call backs from the side. However, if you want to sing or speak with the movie lines, we won't stop you! Ideally you perform in front of the screen as your character of choice and nail the scene without looking at the screen! Good to have a second character of choice and scene to run as back up. Just do your best, have fun, and stick to it! If all goes smoothly, we will announce the roles of the cast this same evening and run rehearsal. (Extra points if you remind us to do some kind of ice breaker where we all get to introduce each other, old cast and new!)

If you have not seen the film, it’s okay… BUT… this season is getting packed with shows which means we need reliable cast members who do their homework! That is, if you want to be Dr. Franknfurter you need to show us 1000% at auditions that you know the role well enough to mimic the film and adjust blocking to any given space! All while being flexible, having a ride to and from each rehearsal and venue, and having the best time of your life!!!
